Tania Lawrence is the Federal Labor Member for Hasluck in Western Australia, first elected to the House of Representatives in 2022. Before entering Parliament, she worked in senior policy roles with the Western Australian Government, spent nearly a decade in the resources sector and established her own small distillery business. Her diverse experience spans public policy, governance, regulation, business development and community advocacy.
Representing a rapidly growing electorate in Perth’s north-eastern suburbs, Tania is particularly focused on cost-of-living pressures, housing and infrastructure, access to healthcare and education, secure employment and environmental protection. Away from politics, she is an enthusiastic motorcyclist and previously became the first woman to serve as president of Motorcycling Australia.
