Major Projects

1998     Australians For Reconciliation – formed and chaired a group in Goulburn, NSW. Wrote articles in local paper about groups activities. Also represented Goulburn Council at Canberra Reconciliation Council meetings.

1998     Australian Red Cross – Coordinator of Red Cross Calling in Goulburn, NSW.

2000     Woorabinda Aboriginal Community, QLD – Received approval from state government to enrol approved minor offenders into multi-RTO Literacy and Numeracy program, as an alternative to Community Service Orders and short prison terms. Enrolment increased from mainstream of 8 students (non-offenders in original program) to 83 students. Funding increased from $320,000 to $2.4 million (funding for 60 students received).

2003     Nine city tour of China, over nine weeks, lecturing at 15 universities on Aboriginal education and communities to Chinese students.

2006     Received $10,000 funding from Sarina Russo, owner of Russo Education, for six month project helping to train and house homeless people.

2006     Received offer from Vodafone Australia of $75,000 to continue training and housing project for the homeless for 12 months, as well as to write magazine articles on this subject. Unable to complete project because of injury.

2006     Invited by Senator Andrew Bartlett to work at a federal government level addressing issues of homelessness in Queensland.

2007     Worked in Honolulu, USA to address issues of homelessness for six months.

2011     Wrote and directed a play in China for teenage speakers of English as a second language. The play was one of twelve finalists in a national competition, from 2500 schools and 1.5 million students involved.

2013     Created political videos for election campaign.
