Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club

The Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club is a sporting oasis nestled alongside the hustle and bustle of daily life and the lapping waters of the Dubai Creek. Locally known as The Creek, the clubhouse’s signature sails are set dramatically against the Dubai skyline.

Also featured are ornamental lakes, waterfalls, sea water hazards and magnificent individually sculptured greens. The club has hosted both the Asian PGA Tour and the Dubai Desert Classic (1999 2000 2004), which means it has the unique distinction of being the only place to hold events on both the European and Asian circuits.

Fairways and approaches are narrow, demanding precision; flat areas are few and far between. Well-groomed fairways lined with date and coconut palms and shrubbery lend the course a distinctly tropical air, as do the landscaped hillocks.

There is a fully floodlit, nine hole, par 3 course. The driving range and practice facilities are also floodlit, and there are 3 practice holes.

The Creek is also the home of first Golf Academy in the region where PGA Professionals are on hand to offer instruction to all levels and ages of player using the latest in swing analysis technology.

In 2004 the club added a 238-room hotel and spa and the golf course undergone a major redesign, incorporating a health club.
