Arnold Schwarzenegger has agreed to make a cameo as his state-ruling self in Sylvester Stallone’s latest testosterone fest, The Expendables. The flick is set to begin shooting March 28 in Brazil and then will then move to New Orleans for an additional two months of photography.
Stallone, who wrote the script and will also star in and direct, will shoot his good pal and former Planet Hollywood partner’s cameo in Los Angeles. The movie also costars Sly’s former nemesis from Rocky IV, Dolph Lundgren, along with Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, Jet Li and Forest Whitaker.
Since taking political office in 2003, Schwarzenegger has appeared briefly in only three other films, 2003’s The Rundown, the 2004 Jackie Chan bomb Around the World in 80 Days and 2005’s The Kid & I, but there have been strong hints he will pop up in this summer’s Terminator Salvation.
